A Message from the Heart of Tim Carter
President and CEO, OmniAmerican Bank

It’s amazing to see what happens when thousands of people, who have never met before, all volunteer to step outside of themselves and selflessly offer their time, skill and commitment to achieve a common goal. The spirit of giving back to others and to your community is embodied in the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition program.

I’m proud to be part of OmniAmerican Bank and witness the character our employees displayed through their participation. I’m further privileged to be associated with bank customers like Joey Goss of Cheldan Homes, Sandra McGlothlin at Empire Disposal (as well as Empire Roofing) and Bill and Wanda Hart at Smoky Hill Restoration and Refinishing who gave not only of themselves, but offered their professional business services.

The story of this miracle is marvelously chronicled at www.ExtremeCheldan.com. I encourage you to visit the Web site to learn more about how this project developed and see the benefits of neighbor helping neighbor.

This national story of local triumph is well documented and appears on national television (ABC, October 18 at 7 p.m. CDT). Yet, it’s not too late for you to help. OmniAmerican Bank is accepting non-tax-deductible donations to help pay-off the mortgage of the previous home owned by the Marshall family. If you would like to contribute, you can do so by making a donation at any OmniAmerican branch office or mailing a check to:

Cheldan Extreme Family Fund

Finally, just as the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition takes home building to an extreme level, I invite you to visit any of our branches and discover what we mean when we say OmniAmerican Bank offers Extreme Banking. Extreme Banking is much like seeing a house go up in just 160 hours, it’s something you have to experience for yourself.
