“This piece goes right here!” Puzzles and word games are the things I enjoy most. Sometimes Rocky and I even make crossword puzzles for each other. Can you spell? I love to unscramble letters to make words or find words inside of other words. For example, “pinto” can also spell the word “point” or the words “no tip.” Cool, huh!? |

Armadillo
Ready. Set. DRAW! I’m great at drawing pictures and things. I draw everything I see: trees, water, my friends, race cars and even my pets. That’s why I love Rocky’s Holiday Coloring Contest so much. I get to draw lots of different holiday things. Mom says the only thing I can’t draw is my bath… then she laughs really hard. I don’t get it. |

Flutter the Mockingbird
Howww-deeee! Let’s sing a song! I love to sing and act and pretend I am other animals. My favorite songs are “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes” and “Wheels on the Bus.” Sometimes I even make up songs as I go! I can sing about anything at all! Hey, next time, won’t you sing along with me? |
Rusty the Bull
Howdy, friends! Rocky and I like to build and create things together. I use blocks to make tall buildings. Sometimes I’ll make streets using my construction toys, especially when I play outside. Sunny days are great for digging in the sand or making roads in the backyard. I’m called Rusty because mom says my memory can be a little “rusty” when she asks me to do things. |

Spike the Horned Toad
Exciting things are everywhere! I know, because I read all about them. I love to read and use my imagination. Comic books, short stories, poems and newspapers are all fun to read. They can be educational, funny and entertaining. Fairy tales are my favorite. Have you read about the frog who becomes a prince? I LOVE that story! |
Flash the Roadrunner
I love to exercise! I can do jumping jacks, somersaults and hand stands but my favorite thing to do is run! Do you like to run? Every morning I get up and put on my headphones and start running to the music. Sometimes I’ll call Rocky and our friends and we’ll all go running together. In school, my English teacher says I even write in run-on sentences. Imagine that! |
