Why are you making changes to the OmniAmerican credit cards?
OmniAmerican Bank is pleased to announce our association with Elan Financial Services, one of the largest and most experienced credit card issuers in the nation.  This change means exciting new benefits for you as a credit cardholder. Look for a new rewards program, new card designs and much more! Plus, your new card from Elan will feature VISA's® Zero Liability if your card is ever lost or stolen* and 24-hour Cardmember Service.

*Certain conditions and exclusions apply. Details of coverage will be provided when you receive your card(s).

When will I receive my new OmniAmerican credit card from Elan Financial Services?
Your new card will arrive by March 24, 2006. This card will replace the current OmniAmerican credit card you presently have.

How long will my current OmniAmerican credit card be valid?
Your current OmniAmerican credit card will be valid until March 24, 2006 regardless of the expiration date shown on the card. Once you receive your new OmniAmerican credit card from Elan Financial Services, please activate it and begin using it. You should immediately destroy your current OmniAmerican card once you activate your new card.

Will I have a new account number?
Yes. If you have automatic billing to your credit card with any third parties, please inform the businesses that are billing you of your new account number, since your current account number will no longer be valid.

As a reminder, if you have established online bill payments for your credit card payments please change the account number to your new Elan account number. If you do not update your account number your bill payments will not successfully pay to your new credit card.

When will my current OmniAmerican Bank credit card transactions and balances be available on the new Elan credit card online account access pages? 
You will be able to view all your credit card balances beginning March 30, 2006; however your previous credit card transaction history will not be available. You can access your credit card balances on your current OmniAmerican account through Elan account log-in available through www.OmniAmerican.com.

Your transaction history from your previous card is available in your credit card statements or you can contact Cardmember Service at 1-800-558-3424 for assistance.

How long will my current credit card account history be available in Omni E-Banking?
Your current OmniAmerican credit card account history will be available in Omni E-Banking until March 30, 2006. Transactions made with your new OmniAmerican credit card from Elan Financial Services will not show up in Omni E-Banking. You can view these transactions through the Elan log-in available through wwww.OmniAmerican.com.

Will my balance, pending balance or pending transactions on my current account automatically be transferred to my new account?
Yes.  Notification of the amount transferred will be sent to you in your monthly account statement from Elan.

What are the payment options available?

  • AutoPay allows you to pay your bill automatically from your OmniAmerican checking or savings account. If you are currently enrolled in the OmniAmerican automatic payment program, your service will not convert to Elan. You will need to re-enroll in the new AutoPay service. You can re-enroll by completing the application you receive with your new card or you can visit an OmniAmerican branch to pick up an AutoPay application.
  • Phone Pay allows you to make your credit card payment by phone.
  • You will also be able to pay online through OmniAmerican.com

These convenient options will make paying your bill easier than ever. More information regarding the payment options will be mailed to you with your new credit card.

Will my credit card insurance* coverage transfer to the new account?
No.  You must re-enroll by completing the enrollment postcard that you will receive with your new card(s). If you need more information, please call OmniAmerican Bank at Local (817) 335-OMNI (6664), Metro (817) 498-OMNI (6664) or Nationwide (866) 670-OMNI (6664).
